We are excited to offer to our guests Damiani, Boundary Breaks and Lamoreaux Landing wines. After traveling for hours to our marvelous Finger Lakes Wine Country enjoy our lovely grounds and “Come Wine Down” with us. With our BnB license our guests end their day by purchasing local craft Beer, Cider or our featured wines to enjoy on premise. Additionally, if you are a member of the Lamoreaux Landing Wine Club and call us to reserve a room we will provide you with a special rate.

There are so many fantastic wines, craft beer, cider and spirits in the Finger Lakes and so little time to enjoy them all.  We recommend around four wineries in a day which happily means you will have to return and stay with us every year.  During the winter, we have the hard duty of visiting as many of the wineries and sipping new releases from the Seneca and Cayuga Lake Wine Trails. This helps us to plan your tasting itinerary. On request, we will gladly snail mail you a map and information prior to your arrival.  On your arrival, you will find in our resource center brochures and free tasting coupons and discounts.

  • FINGER LAKES BEER TRAIL

    • Cayuga Lake & Auburn Itinerary is 17 Brewing Companies, Ale & Lager Houses.
    • Eastern Seneca Lake Tasting is 11 locations which also include Watkins Glen and Elmira, NY
    • Seneca Lake Loop is the longest trail and requires two days with Ovid and Tillinghast manor being a perfect place to begin the journey

  • Hard Cider

    The Finger Lakes are a perfect place for the blossoming Cider Industry.  There is an abundance of apple orchards such as Wickham’s which is a u-pick orchard in Hector.  You will find stand alone Cideries as well as a place for cider tasting in many of the Brewing Companies and Wineries. The farm to bottle philosophy is exemplified by these closest to us.

    • Blackduck Cidery– 3046 County Road 138  Ovid, NY. This is a family orchard that produces not only cider but Perry in small batches with minimal manipulation using ambient yeast fermentation.
    • Finger Lakes Cider House– 4017 Hickok Road, Interlaken, NY. The Good Life Farm features their own Good Life Cider as well as amazing ciders from Black Diamond Cider , Eve’s Cidery, Redbyrd Orchard Cider and South Hill Cider.

  • Distilling

    There are two Distillers very close to Tillinghast Manor. We have frequented both and purchased their Bourbon and Gin.

  • What’s Wine Without Cheese?

    The Finger Lakes Cheese Trail – If you are the designated driver, then stopping at some Creameries can be your reward. They are working family farms and are creating a variety of artisanal cheeses. We can also do a special cheese basket for you to enjoy. The two closest are:

    • Muranda Cheese Company at 3075 State Rte 96 South in Waterloo which is open 7 days a week year around.  murandacheese.com
    • Livley Run Goat Dairy is only open seasonly from May to October. You can take the farm tour at 2pm Monday to Saturday.  They are located at 8979 County Rd 142 Interlaken.  livelyrun.com
